Perchy Privacy Policy
On this page
Perchy is free and supported by ads. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address or precise location. We use game data that is not linked to your identity to improve the game and to measure our ads. If you allow it, your advertising identifier is used for ads; if you don't, the game still works the same.
What we collect
- In-game interactions: level starts and results, moves, use of boosters, in-game currency movements, screen visits and the chosen language.
- Purchases: if you buy something in the game, which product was bought and its price. Apple processes payments; we never see card or payment details.
- Crash and performance reports.
- Coarse location: the country derived from your IP address.
- Device identifiers: app-specific identifiers (such as the Firebase app instance ID, IDFV and Tenjin device ID). The advertising identifier (IDFA) is read only if you allow it.
Why we use it
- To improve the game: where players struggle and what they enjoy.
- To measure where the game is discovered, such as App Store search or an ad campaign.
- To show ads and measure ad revenue.
Service providers
- Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: analytics and crash reports.
- Tenjin: install source and campaign measurement.
- Google AdMob: ads.
- Apple: purchases and App Store measurement.
These services process data under their own privacy policies. Some of them process data outside Türkiye, for example in the European Union or the United States.
Your choices
- iOS asks for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, the IDFA is not read and ads are not personalised; measurement then uses only Apple’s privacy-preserving methods, in aggregate.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s consent form is shown, and you can change your choice later from the game’s settings. On iPhone you can also change tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Children
The game is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Retention and deletion
- Deleting the game from your device deletes all records on the device.
- Analytics data is kept at Google for up to 14 months.
- To ask for deletion of your data, write to us. We answer within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Türkiye’s KVKK), you can ask to access, correct or delete data about you, object to its use, or withdraw consent. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Important changes are also announced in the game.
